VOI! ALRIGHT BRATS, TRASH, AND SCUM! I'd like to offer my overflowing wisdom to you little @%^s, so if anyone ever has questions regarding rp just let me know here! Or if it is a matter you would rather keep private my inbox is always open!!!
My qualifications;[/u]
I have 6+ years rp experience.
I have been the Admin, or Adviser to multiple RP war groups (and if I wasn't in the group I was being recruited or scouted) meaning I have knowledge of proper rp fighting etiquette and have specialized in rp fighting.
I am a Novella status rper. I will explain what this is momentarily.
I have played multiple roles in multiple genre and verses ranging from fantasy to sci fi to supernatural.
I have also had multiple OC accounts as well as Cannon accounts so I know a thing or two about both cannon and OC characters.

Now. As my first snippet I offer you I will explain a bit what being Novella means.
Oh you know what it is, do you?
Being able to hold a long rp? Mmhmm mhm WRONG!!!!
Novella does not just mean you can type a lot. People often mistake Novella for just being long! It's more than that! You can have a 473687562785 para long rp and have it be complete garbage, that's just a mad long multi para NOT novella. A long RP does not always mean a good rp. I have seen people write para among para of how blue the %$#^ing sky is! THAT'S BULL!!!
Novella needs, not only to be literate, but for the information in the rp to be relevant to the storyline as well as entertaining to the reader. Yes, novella is often long but that is because the needed amount of information or story can not fit in a shorter reply. Novella is about having what is NEEDED not just a bunch of ^%$#y fluff taking up space. Recently I came across an rper who claimed to be Novella and as I read his starter all I could think of was THIS IS BULL!!! It was completely boring and unimaginative. To be Novella you need to know basic rules of Grammar and language (Specifically English since this is an English speaking rp site).
COMMAS AND PUNCTUATION ARE A MUST!!! Know how to use, but not overuse them.
Also; paragraph structure. This is a pet peeve of mine. Paragraphs generally consist of 3-5 sentences. NOT 2347125 sentences. Every once in a while a paragraph will need to be a bit longer or shorter (especially with dialogue) BUT not every paragraph!!!
I have seen so many times in rp that people give me 5 para that should have been broken down into 10.
A paragraph should cover a topic and when the topic changes a new paragraph begins. It's a bit hard for me to explain but if you need me to give further details or examples just let me know.
Now with dialogue when a character starts to talk you need to start a new paragraph! Also when you have two characters speaking once the second character begins to talk that goes into a new paragraph otherwise it is unclear who is speaking. Again, I will produce examples upon request.
One more thing FOR NOW;
Do not, I REPEAT, do not start to many sentences off with the same word like; He did this. He did that. He. he. he. she. she. she. NO! Try to spice things up. Start a sentence with a character's alias or even start off with what the character is doing.
Here is two examples of the same action;
Squalo looked out the window as rain fell from the sky.
As the rain fell outside his window, Squalo watched from inside.
See? You can get the same point across but in a different ways. Try not to start more then one or two sentences in a paragraph the same way. It's a great way to keep readers more interested as well as making the reply less repetitive.
Anyway if you ever have any doubt in a reply let someone read it first! Getting tips from other people on how to improve is a great way to learn! I'd be willing to read and edit replies as well (Provided I don't have other obligations to attend to).
When I think of other helpful lessons for you lot I'll post them here! SO PAY ATTENTION!
That is all. For now anyway. [/color]
